Circuito Chico
The trip starts along a road by the
lake. Further up you will get to Cerro Campanario, where
a chairlift will take you up to the top (1050 mts) from
where you will be able to enjoy one of the most fascinating
views of the area. On your way you will cross over Angostura
bridge, above the homonymous river, which joins lakes
Nahuel Huapi and Moreno. You will also visit a panoramic
spot where you will be able to view Lake Moreno and Peninsula
Llao Llao. On the way back to the city you will cross
over a bridge and ride by El Trebol lagoon’s shore.

Cerro Catedral:
(2388 mts) This is the most
remarkable ski resort in South America. It is located
13 kilometers from the Hotel. You drive past Villa Catedral
and get to the mountain’s
bottom.
Cerro Catedral offers the possibility to ski in winter
or enjoy its breathtaking view from the top. The mountain
sports service facilities and chairlifts that will take
you up to more than 2000 meters of height.

Whole-day Excursions |

San
Martín de los Andes around the 7 lakes.
This is
one of the most well-known tours of the area. The excursion
starts in the city of Bariloche along a winding road
full of natural beauty. You will go past Puerto Manzano
and Villa la Angostura.
The ride goes past seven lakes of dazzling beauty.
You will get to the city of San Martín de los
Andes, off the Lake Lacar shores. All along the road,
you will enjoy dream landscapes, waterfalls and deep
blue lakes.
This circuit, which is used for the Mil Millas Sport,
will take from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm approximately.

Cerro Tronador y Cascada
Los Alerces
This is the highest peak of the area
(3410 mts) and the destination of a ride that goes
along road 258, visiting the spectacular Lake Gutierrez
and Lake Mascardi on the way. Once in Cerro Tronador
there is a dirt road that will take you through Pampa
Linda, where Hotel Tronador is located. The same
road takes you to Ventisquero Negro, the tip of a
glacier covered in volcanic substances.
From there, you can also go to Cascada Los Alerces
which is famous for its stunning beauty and its exuberant
waters.

Lake Excursions |

Isla
victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes
This is the
most traditional lake excursion. Leaving from Puerto
Pañuelo, and after a 40-minute sail,
you will arrive at Bosque de Arrayanes which is unique
in the world and whose diversity of species makes it
a remarkable place.
After a short walk, you go aboard again and sail
towards Puerto Anchorena in Isla Victoria where you
can walk through hundred-year-old autochthonous woods.
A chair lift can take you up to the top of Cerro Bella
Vista.

Puerto
Blest, Cascada Los Cantaros and Laguna Frias
At Puerto Pañuelo we board a catamaran “El
Condor” bound to Brazo Blest, sailing past
Isla Centinela where Perito Moreno’s tomb is
to be found.
This Brazo, because of its vegetation
and geographical characteristics, resembles the Norwegian
Fiords.
Once you get to Puerto Blest you can go to
Lago Frías where you can cross the Andes where
both Argentina and Chile are joined by a lake.
Back
in Puerto Blest, you can go to Cascada Los Cantaros,
where you can walk up wooden steps and enjoy wonderful
water springs of impressive beauty.
This is a whole-day excursion.
